BENSON: The attack on the Capitol Building

When the Capitol Building was being attacked, the root of the problem was because Nancy Pelosi would not act on the warnings that were told to her weeks in advance. That the capital was in danger because of the need for more security. According to the media, the FBI was concerned about the security for the capital. The chief of police over the capitol building was begging for more security many times and he was denied. A question comes to my mind: Why didn’t Nancy Pelosi give the security that was needed for the Capitol Building. I feel that Nancy Pelosi should be made accountable for not taking the action that was required from her and for the destruction that was done to the capital. If the proper security that was requested for the capital was there most likely the capital would have never been attacked. It is almost like it was set up by not having enough security to maximize the effect of the riot. The Democrats need to take responsibility for their actions instead of blaming everything on the former Pres. Donald Trump.
