Rotary Club of Milledgeville launches two new clubs, expands service opportunities

The Rotary Club of Milledgeville has launched two new branches, the Milledgeville Rotary E-Club and the Milledgeville Rotary Impact Club, to provide more flexible membership options and expand opportunities for community engagement. These new clubs join the Rotary Club of Milledgeville’s traditional lunch club, offering three ways for individuals to participate in Rotary’s mission of Service Above Self.

The Milledgeville Rotary E-Club, chaired by Gina Whitaker, Baldwin County Schools’ executive administrative assistant to the superintendent, meets virtually once a month. It is designed for individuals who want to stay involved in Rotary but require the flexibility of remote participation. E-Club members take part in service projects, virtual fellowship and local initiatives.

The Milledgeville Rotary Impact Club, founded by Erin Andrews, CEO of Marketing USA and immediate past president of the Rotary Club of Milledgeville, provides a hands-on, service-first approach without the structure of regular meetings. This option is ideal for busy professionals and community members who want to participate in impactful service projects on a flexible schedule.

The Rotary Club of Milledgeville’s traditional club continues to meet weekly on Thursdays from noon to 1 p.m., featuring in-person fellowship, guest speakers and engagement in all service activities shared with the E-Club and Impact Club.
