PENNINGTON: Against county tax increase

The paper stated that, “several” opposed property tax. Every property owner I know opposes it. A lot of homeowners are also low income elderly people or some don’t have jobs. If they don’t pay their taxes, what are they going to do about it? Take their property for taxes. Shame on our representatives. Do they get to not on it? If there is a vote, then you will see it is not just a few that oppose this. I am 93 years old and don’t need this extra tax.
