Carolyn Jackson

Carolyn Underwood Jackson, 84, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at Black  Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev Terry Cliett will officiate.

Mrs. Jackson was born and raised in Milledgeville. She and her husband, Noah Robert Jackson Jr., later moved to Jacksonville, Fla., where they made there home for 22 years before returning to Milledgeville. She was a homemaker and was a member of Black Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Bobby Jackson and his wife Melissa of Clinton, Miss., and John Page Jackson and his wife Karen of Milledgeville, her daughter, Lyn Kruse and her husband John of Foster City, Calif., a sister-in-law, JoAnn Peeler of Milledgeville; nine grandchildren, Wesley Jackson (Audrey), Brooke Balducci (Alan), John Noah Jackson (Rachel), Page Hudson (Heath), Johnny Kruse, Katie Larry (Will), Noah Kruse, Philip Kruse and Annie Kruse; four great grandchildren, Eli and Lila Jackson, Ashton and Matthew Jackson, and also the devoted caregivers Mrs. Jackson was blessed with in her final years.

Flowers are accepted or friends who wish may make memorial contributions to Black Springs Baptist Church.
