A man who walked away from the Bostick Nursing Center in Milledgeville last week remained at-large Monday, according to local and state authorities.

The public’s help is being sought in an attempt to find Johnny Pressley.

Pressley is described as white, standing 5-feet-10, and weighing 148 pounds, according to information released by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office on its website.

The inmate, who is on probation, was transferred to the Bostick Nursing Center, located on the campus of Renaissance Park at Central State Hospital.

An outstanding warrant has been issued for Pressley’s arrest, charging him with a parole violation.

Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Maj. Brad King, who oversees the criminal investigations division, told The Union-Recorder in a telephone interview that Pressley is a probationer.

“He walked away from the Bostick Nursing Center one day last week, and other than that we really don’t have any other information about this man,” King said.

Several area law enforcement agencies are looking for Pressley.

Authorities advise anyone who may have seen Pressley not to approach him.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to the call 911 or the Macon office of Crime Stoppers at 478-742-2330.
