BERTRAND: I apologize for my actions

I cannot make excuses for what I have done – defacing private and public property with graffiti. I have shamed the name of Milledgeville for selfish reasons, and for that, I apologize. Not only was I raised to be a better person than that of what my actions displayed, but also Milledgeville deserves a better person than that. To attempt to make this situation right, I am in the process of cleaning all places I have damaged with spray paint. Words cannot express enough of how apologetic I am for my actions. This is something that will never happen again. I have learned more than one valuable lesson from this. I would also like to apologize to Georgia Military College. Being there has taught me many things and it breaks my heart to this day to have shamed and have disappointed them. The Cadet Corps, along with the football program, hold a much higher standard. I sincerely apologize for the damage and inconvenience I have caused.
