Wayne and Dedia Vinson of Haddock, Georgia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Alecia Nicole Vinson to David Andrew Pittman, son of David and Cathy Pittman of Brunswick, Georgia. The wedding is planned for November 19, 2016 at Lovely Lane Chapel on St. Simons Island.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Carlton and Anita Vinson of Milledgeville, Georgia and the late Lonnie and Agnes McKee of Meridan, Mississippi. She is a 2011 graduate of Georgia College and State University and a 2013 graduate of the University of West Georgia with a M.Ed in School Counseling. She is employed at St. Simons Elementary on St. Simons Island.

The groom is the grandson of the late Wesley and Evelyn Pittman of Brunswick, Georgia and the late Bob and Mildred Sylvia of Brunswick, Georgia. He is a 2010 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is employed at Byer’s Engineering in Brunswick, Georgia.
