PARKS: Help keep our neighborhoods clean

My name is Ernestine Parks. My neighbors should know what street I reside. For many years, off and on, we have been overwhelmed with trash thrown out onto our neighborhoods. We, as homeowners, I believe should care about the neighborhoods and areas that we live around. The city and county put up signs along the highways and neighborhood roads that read “Milledgeville the Beautiful” but a lot of areas on the southwest side are not looking so beautiful. So as homeowners, let us come together as needed and help keep our areas and communities beautiful and scenic by keeping the trash picked up around our stores and communities. These are your neighborhoods and areas, so be bold, be proud, most of all, be concerned. I thank you for the three neighbors that are making a difference — you know who you are.
