The public has spoken,” Westmoreland said after the final unofficial numbers were posted by Baldwin County Elections Superintendent Todd A. Blackwell. “There will be a runoff, and we’ll see what happens in that runoff.”

One of the big differences in Little coming out on top of his other two opponents was the number of votes he received during the 17 days of early voting.

Little received 222 votes during early voting and came back on Election Day and added another 257 votes.

Westmoreland received 157 votes during early voting and tallied another 162 votes Tuesday.

Peacock received 92 votes during early voting and 86 more votes on Election Day.
