EDITORIAL: Attend an Eggs & Issues session

Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce will kick off another season of its Eggs & Issues series later this month featuring guest presenter, Dr. Noris Price, superintendent of the Baldwin County School District.

The series launched as a means to deliver community-focused issues to the local public. These issues have in the past ranged from education, economic development, state legislation to local quality of life and government.

This year’s series kicks off at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21 at Central Georgia Technical College.

The community is urged to make plans to attend this session and stay abreast of the upcoming monthly Eggs & Issues topics.

Each of these breakfasts includes a presentation on the designated topic, as well as a question and answer session.

This series is an opportunity to learn more and engage in community issues. It’s also an opportunity to ask questions of those directly involved with these issues and hear from them firsthand.

More importantly, it’s a means to weigh in and ask questions, providing an avenue for a renewed community voice and discussion.

Make an effort to attend an Eggs & Issues session and learn more about community interests by doing so.
