Haley Tyler Efird spent seven years working at the Velvet Elvis Grille and Tap in Milledgeville before taking on her new career in outside sales for a beverage distributing company. The wife and mother to a 1-year-old is also the proud owner/operator of Tasty Temptations Mobile Bartending Services as well as Tasty Temptations Freeze Dried Candy.

Born and raised in Monticello, Georgia she attended Georgia Military College and pursued a business degree.
At the Velvet Elvis, Efird served as a bartender and a manager, and she says after her time there came to a close, there was still an itch to be behind the bar.
“I had bartended many weddings and private events, with people always reaching out in interest,” she said. “I then decided that I should purchase a mobile bar and offer mobile bartending services.”
That is exactly what she did.
Tasty Temptations offers mobile bartending services to customers, including a renovated horse trailer bar. Their bar includes mocktails, cocktails and everything in between. If an event does not need mocktails or cocktails, no need to worry, as Tasty Temptations can also serve everything from lemonade to hot chocolate.
Tasty Temptations serves any drinks that customers choose. The bartenders have years’ worth of experience, and Efird says they are confident in their ability to make whatever drinks the customer wants come to life.

“Due to Georgia being a dry hire state, any drinks that our customers supply, we will execute,” she said.
Efird can also set up the trailer at local festivals, offering their freeze-dried candy. Soon, she also hopes to add a cotton candy and popcorn machine to the mix.
The business does not have set hours of operation but they are “available at any time for events, no matter the day or time,” she said.
Tasty Temptations can accommodate any event.
The journey to becoming a mobile bartending business had its share of unique roadblocks.
“Due to Georgia being a dry hire state, we did not have to go through all of the licensing on trying to obtain a liquor license,” Efird said. “We do have to remind our potential clients of this, quite often, so I think that is the biggest obstacle we have had to overcome.”
Tasty Temptations is a licensed and insured business, staffed by bartenders who are certified.
Business has gone well so far, with bookings already into 2025, she said.
The business also recently became a member of the Chamber of Commerce.
“We cannot wait to network with other local businesses and members and get our name out there,” she said “We are so appreciative of the promotions they have already done and we are excited to have our ribbon cutting as well.”
Tasty Temptations is the only business offering mobile bartending services in the area. Efird enjoys one thing more than anything else when it comes to running Tasty Temptations.
“What I enjoy most about running this business is that we are always in a fun and exciting atmosphere,” she said. “I love building relationships with my clients and their guests and making their events more unique.”
