“To the Georgia fans, thank you for being the best fans in college football,” Bullard said via social media. “Playing between the hegdes on Saturdays has been one of the highlights of my life. I’m grateful for your support.
“With that being said, I am excited to start the next chapter of my life.”
A 2021 BHS graduate, Bullard finished his junior season and second playing as a starter in head coach Kirby Smart’s secondary with Saturday’s UGA win in the Orange Bowl. He was the nickelback during Georgia’s 2022 national championship-winning campaign and left an indelible mark on the program, earning Defensive Most Valuable Player honors in both the College Football Playoff semifinal win over Ohio State and again in the championship versus Texas Christian University.
Bullard grabbed two first-half interceptions in that title victory over TCU, which is a CFP record.
