Lake Country Painting

For 17 years, Lake Country Painting has served the Milledgeville community and beyond. The business is run by Chris McBrayer and Ross Newsome who have a passion for delivering exceptional painting and customer service.

Newsome said that Lake Country Painting originally opened because he and McBrayer saw a need in the community for somewhere that offers both commercial and residential painting.

They offer several services to clients, with the obvious focus being on commercial and residential painting jobs. Lake Country Painting offers prep and painting for new construction, rapid re-paints on new purchases, and pressure washing as well. Over the years, Newsome said the business has grown and gotten busier.

Lake Country Painting has expanded beyond central Georgia, offering services throughout the state. Newsome said that no job was “too big or too small” for Lake Country Painting to take on. Lake Country Painting has an average of 101 to 115 painters working on jobs within the surrounding areas.

The business can handle both interior and exterior painting jobs of the commercial and residential variety.

“About 75% of our paint is bought from Sherwin Williams, but we use Benjamin Moore and also Tnemec paints on some of our commercial projects,” he said.

Lake Country Painting’s Facebook page includes photos from various projects they have worked on. It gives customers a taste of the quality that they offer for residential or commercial spaces. Each job varies in terms of costs, and customers can call for assistance in figuring out an estimate/quote.

Since opening, Newsome said that Lake Country Painting has received quite the response.

“We are very fortunate to have the customers we have had over the past 17 years to help us to continue to offer this trade to our community,” he said.

Newsome said that Lake Country Painting’s staff availability sets the business apart offering a greater ability “to show up at a job with the right tools for the job, get in and get out with little to no inconvenience to the customer whether it’s residential or commercial.”

Lake Country Painting places a great deal of emphasis on service and doing the best they can for all of their customers.

“Our reputation means everything to us, especially in a small town. We don’t ask for any money up front no matter the size of the job and we will not take payment until the customer is completely satisfied,” Newsome said. “Our job is to give the customer a paint job that they will be happy with for years to come and when someone asks, we want them to say Lake Country Painting did this with a smile on their face and for referrals to come.”
