The following is information compiled from public records of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. Criminal Trespass and Damage to Property
An officer responded to the area of the 100 block of North Pickens Street June 6, in reference to damage to property. The complainant stated that the father of her child kicked in her front door while she was gone. The complainant stated that they argued the previous day and she kicked him out of the house. He allegedly took the key to the residence and refused to give it back. She left her house around 11 a.m. and stated that a family member was supposed to change the locks so he could not enter the residence. She returned home around 1 p.m. and found the doorframe damaged. Only the bottom lock was engaged even though she stated she locked the deadbolt before she left. Nothing was taken from the residence and there was no other damage to the property. The complainant was not able to provide evidence that the father of her child was the offender.
Criminal Trespass and Damage to Property
An officer responded to the area of the 2000 block of North Columbia Street June 6, in reference to damage to property. The victim was upset due to the father of her children slashing her vehicle’s tire with a knife. The victim stated that she returned home June 5, and noticed her rear driver’s side tire was flat. The father dropped off their son earlier in the day and the son saw his father slash the tire on her vehicle. The officer spoke to him by phone and told him that were was enough probable cause to proceed to take out a warrant. The father did not contact the officer and warrants were taken out for criminal trespass. The warrants were signed and turned over to Baldwin County Jail.
Discharge of Firearm in City Limits
An officer responded to the area of the 100 block of Cambridge Court June 6, in reference to someone discharging a firearm in the street near his residence on June 5. The complainant stated that he heard a single shot fired and a dark red Chevy Camaro was seen leaving Cambridge Court around the time the shot was heard. A patrol of the area was conducted June 5, but no signs of shots fired were observed. The complaint stated that he checked the area again later during the daytime and found a single 40mm shell casing in the cul-de-sac of Cambridge Court and reported it on June 6. The complainant was not sure of the casing was related to the shot fired on June 5 or if it was in the road prior to the shot fired. The shell was collected for evidence.
Entering Automobile
An officer responded to the area of the 400 block of East Montgomery Street June 7, in reference to a possible entering of an automobile. The female stated that her neighbor’s car had been broken into due to the rolled down windows. The owner of the vehicle stated that nothing had been taken.

The female stated that her neighbor’s car had been broken into. The victim had left her doors unlocked and her purse had been stolen with an approximate value of $250 worth of items in the purse.
