The following is information compiled from public records of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Criminal Trespass and Damage to Property
An officer responded to the area of the 200 block of Lewis Court on June 2, in reference to damage to a vehicle. The female 911 caller left her vehicle for approximately an hour and came back to find her windshield wipers bent and the assailant had taken the driver’s side mirror.
Theft
An officer responded to the area of the 200 block of Caraker Avenue June 2, in reference to a removal and possible theft. A bluetooth speaker was taken which may have belonged to the assailant and possibly other items also were taken, but the 911 caller was not sure because she was not on the premises at the time. In addition, she did not notice anything else missing. The assailant was issued and signed a Notice of Prohibited Entry and was told not to return to the property.
Fraud and Impersonation
An officer responded to a victim in the area of the 100 block of Floyd Griffin Jr. Street on June 4, in reference to identity theft. The victim advised about a month prior he received a letter from the Georgia Department of Labor advising him of his right to appeal his unemployment claim. The victim never filed an unemployment claim because he is self-employed. His name, address, date of birth and social security number were used without permission.
Vicious Dog
An officer responded to a complainant in the area of the 2500 block of Grandview Drive in reference to a vicious dog attempting to attack her son. She stated that her son was playing outside in their own yard when her neighbor attempted to get her dog to attack her son. There were no scrapes, marks or bites on the son from the alleged attack. The complainant stated that she and her neighbor continuously have verbal disagreements when they are outside at the same time. Another neighbor stated that the dog continuously goes into the complainants and his yard unleashed. He stated that he doesn’t want the dog to come into neighbors yards to avoid kids playing outside to be bit. The owner of the dog stated that she lets the dog out on a leash which is attached to her front porch. She stated that the dog escaped off the leash one time the morning of June 4, but the dog did not attack the neighbors son. The owner of the dog stated that the neighbor’s son, while playing outside, tends to wander into her yard, which causes the dog to bark but claimed the dog never acted aggressively toward him.
