Criminal Damage to Property
An officer responded Feb. 10 to a location in the 300 block of Roberts Street. The officer spoke with a woman who said she came outside to get in her vehicle and go to work when she discovered that her 2010 Ford Focus and 2014 Dodge Avenger had damaged tires. She said the right side of both vehicles had damage to their paint jobs from someone scratching the vehicles. During investigation, there were no noticeable marks which displayed someone slashing her tires.
Entering Auto
An officer responded to Baldwin Dialysis on North Columbia Street and spoke with an employee who stated that when she arrived to work on Feb. 8 around 8:50 a.m., she noticed someone had damaged the driver’s and passenger’s side windows of a white Volvo Day Cab parked behind the building. The officer spoke with the vehicle owner who came to the location to conduct an inventory of the vehicle. He noticed that a $500 Garmin GPS had been stolen from the vehicle.
