An officer was dispatched to a residence in the 1300 block of North Clarke Street on March 1, in reference to items taken. A woman said that she left her residence the previous day (Feb. 28) and she locked her door. When she returned home she said the front door looked as if it had been kicked in and she saw damage to the doorframe and a shoe print. She observed her Smart flat screen TV black in color and assorted jewelry taken from the residence. She said she believed she knew the person who came to her residence and took her property. She said that it was not the first time that the suspect had been to her residence. The woman said that she wanted to press charges against the suspect.
