Criminal Trespass
An officer spoke to a man on Jan. 17 who said that someone damaged his mailbox, located in the 100 block of North Elbert Street. The man said he was inside his home watching television and he heard a noise outside. He said he went outside and discovered his mailbox on the ground and the post shattered. He said he saw a group of two woman and four or five men walking across the street and he tried to confront them as they were walking away. He said one of them started shouting at him as they were walking away.
Theft by Taking
An officer spoke with a man on Jan. 17 at a Redding Road address who wished to report a theft. He said two bicycles were taken from his residence. He did not know when they were taken and he did not have serial numbers for either bike. Both were described as metallic green.
Theft by Taking
An officer spoke with an employee of Ruby Tuesday’s on Jan. 17, who stated that approximately eight people came into the restaurant and later complained about the service. The group left without paying the bill. The value of the meal was approximately $50.
Entering Automobile
An officer spoke to a woman on Jan. 19 who said that someone broke into her vehicle. She said she parked her car, a 2010 Toyota Camry, around 7 p.m. the previous night. When she returned the next morning, the vehicle was unlocked. She said she was not sure if anything was missing.
