Entering Auto
An officer spoke with a man by phone on Oct. 11 in reference to an entering auto. The man said sometime the previous night, someone took his silver revolver from his white 2008 Ford, which was parked at the Milledgeville Fire Department on West Thomas Street.
Theft by Shoplifting
An officer spoke with a Walmart employee on Oct. 26 in reference to a shoplifting incident. The employee said a woman entered the store, went to the pharmacy and placed Ambien pills in her purse. Then, she went to the pet department, opened a box of dog food and placed it in her purse. She continued through the store and picked up two rolls of sports tape. The items were valued at $67.09. The woman was stopped by loss prevention personnel. The woman was issued a citation for shoplifting less than $500 and trespassed from the store.
Burglary

An officer was dispatched on Oct. 26 to Economy Tire on Roberson Mill Road. The manager stated that he received a phone call that the store had been broken into. He checked the back fence and discovered a large whole cut through it. An engine from the back compressor, valued at $1,000 was missing.
Damage to property
An officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of North Columbia Street and spoke with a man who said he was heading northbound on Columbia Street when a rock came from the bed of a truck and cracked the windshield of his Ford F-150.
Theft by Taking
An officer was dispatched to the state probation drug testing center on Heritage Road Oct. 26, in reference to a table being stolen. The officer met with an employee who stated that a wooden picnic table, valued at $169, was taken from the location. She said she logged into the camera system and could only go back one day and didn’t see anything. She stated the regional supervisor could log in and go back up to Friday. She was advised if they do find anything on the video to call the police back out.
