Crystal Law said she grew up with entrepreneurship pumping through her veins.
Her parents have several businesses and both of her grandparents are small business owners.“I know firsthand the sweat, blood and tears that these individuals put into their business,” she said. “I can help simplify situations, so they can focus on the things that matter most.”
Law spent more than 10 years working in the banking industry but had a particular reason for leaving. She is active in her community, serving as vice president of the Milledgeville Rotary Impact Club, a community educator for the Alzheimer’s Association and a co-facilitator for the local Alzheimer’s support group. She is also a Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce ambassador and a Sunday school teacher at Milledgeville First Methodist Church. Her position at the bank did not allow her to have as much involvement in the community as she liked, so she sought more flexibility.

In 2016, Law was recruited to Edward Jones. She said that her time spent learning to manage the day-to-day operations at the bank gave her a head start with the company. Moving over to Edward Jones has provided Law with the flexibility she sought and ability to serve her clients, spend quality time with family, and give back to the community.
She started her business in Milledgeville at the beginning of 2017 and moved into her current office located on the north side of Milledgeville at 107B Old Montgomeryville Road in 2018.
Law works as a certified financial planner with Edward Jones. The certification allows her office to offer financial planning services. Law also holds her CEPA (Certified Exit Planning Advisor) designation, designed for business owners to help with succession planning and plan selections.
Law’s client base seeks wealth strategies, retirement planning, estate planning strategies, charitable giving strategies and tax strategies. Her office also operates as an educational office, hosting a variety of seminars, coffee clubs and socials that educate clients on requested topics.
Of course, she cannot do all of this alone. Her team includes branch office administrator Heather Dickey and on-call branch office administrator Jordan Cobb.
Last year, Law received the top 25% of all U.S. Edward Jones offices for the “Making a Difference in Clients Lives” award for 2024.

“In my office, we continue to strive to make a difference and make an impact in our clients’ lives and the community,” she said.
Outside of work, Law resides in Milledgeville with her husband Jesse, who is a lieutenant with Baldwin County Fire and Rescue, their 5-year-old son, Jax, and two dogs, JoJo and Bay. The family spends as much time as possible together and loves taking part in local community events. Law added that she enjoys reading and playing golf as well.
Though she is originally from Morgan County, Law said that Milledgeville instantly felt like home to her. She relocated to attend Georgia College & State University after receiving her associate’s degree in business administration from Georgia Military College in 2003. She graduated from GCSU with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
She said she chose Milledgeville for her business because the genuine love she had for the area remained even though it had been 10 years since she graduated from college. Now, Milledgeville is home to her family and business and she is positive she made the right decision.
“Milledgevile-Baldwin County has always made me, my family, and my business feel welcome,” Law said.
Law and her team at Edward Jones are available at their office Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are also available by phone at 478-295-2556.
