For a third year, Atrium Health Georgia Market President Delvecchio Finley has been included on Georgia Trend’s “GEORGIA 500” list of the state’s most influential leaders. The comprehensive list of local leaders who drive the economy across the state includes leaders ranging from the fields of agribusiness and education to aerospace, the arts, health care, the military, real estate and transportation.

Individuals included on the GEORGIA 500 list were selected from nominations of candidates who best reflect the innovation, vitality and success of Georgia business.

“We are fortunate to have Delvecchio Finley leading Atrium Health’s hospitals and other care sites throughout Georgia,” said Atrium Health Navicent Board Chair Starr Purdue. “Delvecchio is a strong champion for efforts to promote health equity throughout the state, and he works tirelessly to improve patient care and patient experience. Congratulations to Delvecchio, and thank you to Georgia Trend Magazine for this well-deserved recognition.”

He serves as immediate past chair of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), an international professional society of more than 49,000 health care executives who lead hospitals, health care systems and other health care organizations.

Finley has received numerous awards during his career, including twice being named to Modern Healthcare’s “Top 25 Diversity Leaders in Healthcare” list and Becker’s Hospital Review’s “Black Healthcare Leaders to Know” list. He also has been named to Becker’s “Top Healthcare Executives Under 40. He serves on the Georgia Hospital Association’s board of trustees, on the Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals’ board of directors and executive committee, and is a board member for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.

In 2024, Finley was appointed by Georgia Speaker of the House Jon Burns to serve on Georgia’s Comprehensive Health Coverage Commission, an entity created by legislation adopted during the 2024 session of the Georgia General Assembly that is tasked with assessing access and quality of health care for Georgia’s low-income and uninsured populations, and making recommendations for opportunities for improvement.
