GMC Prep football game vs. Twiggs rescheduled

GMC Prep’s football region opener originally scheduled for Friday at Twiggs County has been moved to Oct. 18 due to the threat of inclement weather from Hurricane Helene, according to GMC head coach Gavin Tierce. 

Both teams already had open dates set for the 18th, so no further alterations will need to be made to their schedules. 

Helene is expected to have significant weather impacts through much of Georgia Thursday into Friday.
