The official grand opening is set for Friday.
The new Metropolis restaurant location showcases a sophisticated and inviting ambiance, reflecting the culinary excellence and innovation that patrons have come to expect from the Greek and Mediterranean restaurant.
“We are delighted to invite our guests to experience the grand opening of our new location,” said Deepak Kumar, owner of Metropolis restaurant. “Our team has worked tirelessly to create a dining destination that celebrates the rich tapestry of flavors and traditions, and we are thrilled to share it with the community in this historic yet upscale location. We are also honored to have Lt. Governor Burt Jones join us for this special event.”
This project is essentially a rebirth of North Wayne Street. The rehabilitated space will not only be the new home of Metropolis Café, but it will also house a retail shop. The project has had the support of the State Historic Preservation Division, Georgia Department of Community Affairs and Milledgeville Main Street/DDA.
