Havior Automotive meeting customer vehicle needs

Born and raised in Milledgeville, Tony Havior has spent a good portion of the last few decades working in the car business. 

He graduated from Baldwin High School and attended the University of Portland [Oregon] where he had a full-ride basketball scholarship. After graduating with a business degree, Havior found his way back home and began working in the car business a few years later. As Havior explained, he has worn several hats throughout his time working in the automotive sales industry including general manager and sales manager for several of the dealerships within the area. 

Throughout all that time, Havior always had a dream of opening his own dealership. He accomplished that feat when he opened Havior Automotive, a used car dealership, in December 2017. Havior says that in the six years that they have been in business, Havior Automotive has seen great support from the community. 

Havior opened his dealership in part due to the massive support that he received from clients. Said support has carried over to Havior Automotive as Tony Havior has continued to take care of people by meeting their automotive needs. 

“I had customers that needed personal attention, and I was able to do that,” Havior said. “And they were asking me why I hadn’t done it sooner, but I just had to wait my time.” 

He said he enjoys the flexibility that owning Havior Automotive allows him to have. Working on his own has allowed Havior to do things with his family and continue doing work within the community, which he enjoys. Some customers have been coming to him since he started in the business, and he has even had their children and grandchildren come to him looking for vehicles. 

Havior said that things have changed tremendously since he started in the automotive sales industry. When he first got into the business, the internet was not available and advancements in technology have impacted the way the car business operates.

The dealership features a range of vehicles for customers to pick from including import vehicles, Hondas, trucks and SUVs. The dealership strives to ensure that each vehicle not only runs well, but also provides customers with dependability. 

Havior Automotive also offers a warranty on every vehicle sold.

Havior said that the inventory is frequently changing at Havior Automotive, with new vehicles coming in weekly. What makes his dealership unique in his mind is the level of personal care and dialogue that he is able to have with the customers. 

“I’m always avalible to each and every customer, even down to my cell phone. Personal care, we stand behind our vehicles,” he said, “That’s the advantage of doing business with Havior Automotive.”
