Letter to the Editor

You might say I went to New York last [week]. I felt as though I was there in that magical kingdom; not the one with the cartoon mouse, but the one where real magic happens. I love my favorite music and songs that I listen to on CD’s. But, when you see and hear the magic coming from the actual source and see and hear the notes tripping effortlessly from a singer’s mouth, well, that is an experience that can hardly be described.

For two hours, I was transformed from Milledgeville to that place where dreams are made and felt through the vibrations of song and music.

How were the music makers, you ask. To see and hear the ethereal notes soar through the air from man-made instruments is also magic at its best.

Last night, the magic of New York song and music came to me.
