EDITORIAL: Nominate a rising star for our 20 Under 40

Although 2020 has been an unprecedented year on a number of fronts, it has also presented opportunities to demonstrate perseverance, acts of courage, selflessness and dedication. 

For the past few years, our 20 Under 40 recognitions have highlighted many deserving individuals with these qualities for their contributions and dedication to their professions and volunteerism in their communities. 

We’re once again seeking nominees who are successful in their chosen fields, role models in their careers or leaders in their business or community.

If you know a shining star who is rising above and beyond to make an impact we encourage you to nominate them by emailing us. We will narrow down the field of nominees to 20 individuals who will be featured in our annual 20 Under 40 edition of Milledgeville Scene magazine. Nominees must be age 40 or younger this year, a native of Baldwin County, living or working in the local community or have a tie to the Baldwin County community. 

We’re seeking nominees who are successful in their chosen fields, role models in their careers or leaders in their business or community.

Nominating is fast, easy and a great way to recognize deserving young leaders. Email thembree@unionrecorder.com and provide a name of the person you wish to nominate and briefly explain why you think they should be featured. 

The deadline to nominate is Sept. 15.
