New antique store opens in Milledgeville

MILLEDGEVILLE — Serenity Wellness Spa & Salon owner Linda Kerce recently added a new business venture to the fold. Kerce has a store that’s perfect for antique lovers searching for unique treasures.

On the same grounds as Serenity visitors will also find Linda’s Attic & Antique Emporium, a new business that is home to hundreds of quality, one-of-a-kind collectibles to suit any tastes.

From furniture to one-of-a-kind décor, Linda’s Attic & Antique Emporium’s inventory not only covers all visitors’ needs but the globe as well.

“We have handmade dinnerware from Turkey, a brass and mahogany flatware set from Bangkok, and a lot of interesting pieces from around the world,” said Kerce.

Many of the pieces in the store are items collected by Kerce over the course of several years.

“I starting collecting different types of antiques and one-of-a-kind décor years ago with the idea of starting my own antique shop, but once I started running Serenity it all just ended up in storage,” Kerce said.

Linda’s Attic & Antique Emporium has a bit of everything. Besides collectibles, the store also features silk flower arrangements, perfect for those springtime events that are just around the corner. Kerce creates the flower arrangements.

“It’s something I’ve always enjoyed doing for my friends and family so I don’t consider it a chore at all,” said Kerce.

There are also furniture pieces of various styles in the emporium.

“There’s something for everyone whether it be furniture, mini pictures, or just one-of-a-kind Christmas items you thought you’d never be able to find for your own home,” Kerce said.

The emporium is open on Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Service on any other days must be made by appointment. For more information call Serenity Spa at (478) 453-8158.

Linda’s Attic & Antique Emporium is located at 107 Sportsman Club Road.
