Tuxedo shop ready to dress town in style

MILLEDGEVILLE — Spring is just around the corner. As the chill of a cold winter transforms into an inviting spring breeze, many high school students will set their sites on the perfect look for prom. Harrold’s Formal Wear, located downtown on South Wayne Street, is ready to start measuring and fitting young men in tuxedos for the big night.

Owners Michael and Danielle Fields have everything from fashionable and trendy to casual and budget-friendly. The extensive selection of tuxedos includes many famous designer labels including Perry Ellis, Geoffrey Beene, Furngelli, Chaps, Ralph Lauren, Jean Ives, Andrew Fezza, and many other designers.

“No matter the occasion, you can turn to Harrold’s Formal Wear for excellent service and a great selection of tuxedos,” said co-owner Michael Fields.

Accessorizing is easy with a large selection of designer vests, shirts, ties, shoes, hats, canes, pocket squares and cummerbunds.

“Our tuxedo service guarantees they can get the exact tuxedo any client wants, plus we’re able to match any color of dress.”

Harrold’s is also looking for high school students to serve as prom representatives for the store. When students go to rent a tuxedo, if they ask to be a prom rep and they’ll receive flyers with store promotions and sales that are designed to be given out to potential customers of the store.

“For every flyer that comes back to us with the rep’s name on it, that rep will receive $5 dollars off their rental price.” said Fields.

Harrold’s Formal Wear shares retail space with Fields Photography and Framing at 122 S. Wayne St. Store hours are from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturdays. The business relocated in October 2011, joining the Fieldses existing photography and framing work businesses.
