Taste of Eatonton returns

EATONTON — Get ready to satisfy your appetite and indulge in exquisite culinary creations. From 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, the lawn of The Plaza Arts Center, located in historic downtown Eatonton, will showcase area restaurants during the 13th annual Taste of Eatonton.

“2011 was a smashing success with over 20 restaurants and caterers,” said Bonnie Simmons, special events coordinator for Eatonton-PutnamChamber of Commerce. “Most of those are back in 2012 with their favorite dishes and scrumptious samples for guests to try.”

While feasting on various delectable dishes, those in attendance can also check out the silent auction tables and raffle with local items such as artwork, dinner deals, vacation packages and spa treatments.
