GMC Prep students get real during Reality Check

MILLEDGEVILLE — Georgia Military College Prep School high school students made their rounds to various tables to get advice from local volunteers and gain knowledge about the high cost of living during the annual Reality Check program Wednesday. 

The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce holds the program each year at local high schools, including John Milledge Academy and Baldwin High School. 

This year’s program is presented by the GEO Group, which operates Riverbend Correctional Facility. 

BHS sophomores will have their turn to go through Reality Check from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, in the lobby of the Fine Arts Center.
