Hancock visits Gatewood

EATONTON — U.S. skeet Olympian and Eatonton, Ga. native Vincent Hancock returned to Putnam County Friday to speak with students at Gatewood Academy.  Hancock won his second gold medal in Men’s Skeet Shooting in London earlier this month. Hancock, the youngest competitor in the competition by five years at 23, defended his 2008 gold with a score of 148 out of 150 to take the gold. Hancock beat out Anders Golding of Denmark who hit 146 out of 150 to grab the silver medal.
