MILLEDGEVILLE — Robert and Kathy Evans of Milledgeville, and Donna and Anthony Phillips of Eatonton are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Evans of Hazlehurst, to Travis Woodcock of Savannah, son of Larry and Cindy Woodcock of Hazlehurst.



The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Shirley Carnes and the late Harold Carnes of Milledgeville, L.C. and Lorene Phillips of Eatonton, Preston Evans of Alma, Betty McDade and the late Fred McDade of Milledgeville, and Charlie and Jewell Deason of Milledgeville.

She is a 2004 graduate of Bacon County High School, a 2008 graduate of Altamaha Technical College with a licensed practical nursing degree, and a 2009 graduate of South Georgia College with an associate of nursing degree. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at Jeff Davis Hospital.



The groom is the grandson of Lonnie and JoAnn Waters of Hazlehurst, and Jewell Woodcock and the late Harry Woodcock of Glennville. He is a 2003 graduate of Jeff Davis High School, and a 2005 graduate of Georgia Aviation College. He is currently as a corporate pilot at R.B. Baker Construction in Savannah.
