Victor and Dianne Bayne announce the engagement of their son, Douglas Hunter Bayne, to Tiffany Leigh Cannon, daughter of Chuck and Julie Cannon of Sylvania.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Donald and Marguerite Driggers, Billy and Betty Jean Cannon Newton, and the late Charles T. Cannon. She is a graduate of Screven County High School and Georgia College, where she also earned her masters’ degree in Public Administration. Tiffany is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She is the coordinator for Twiggs County Family Connection in Jeffersonville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Ernest and Anne Bayne and the late Phil and Dot Weiss. He is a graduate of John Milledge Academy and Georgia College where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Doug is employed at Bayne’s Army Store.
The couple plans to wed Oct. 1, 2011 in the bride’s hometown, Sylvania.
