MILLEDGEVILLE — Mr. and Mrs. Vernon L. Eubanks of Milledgeville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Leia Katherine Eubanks, to Joseph Clyde Giddens, son of Ronald and Emilee Giddens Jackson and the late Joseph L.Giddens of Sandersville. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark G. DeLoach Jr. of Eatonton, Mr. and Mrs. Bert H. Blanton of Newport, Va., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Eubanks of Milledgeville. Leia is a 2005 graduate of Georgia Military College Prep School and a 2009 graduate of Oklahoma City University. She is currently employed with the Washington County Board of Education as a dance and drama teacher.The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willis Channell of Tennille and the late Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Giddens of Sandersville. Joseph is a 1998 graduate of Washington County High School, a 2000 graduate of Andrew College, and a 2002 Georgia College and State University graduate. He is currently the co-owner/manager of Geo's Quarters in Sandersville.The wedding is planned for Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Sandersville United Methodist Church.
