Mr. and Mrs. Walter B. Peeler Jr. of Milledgeville are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Alise Peeler, to Thomas Clark Bridgeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff G. Bridgeman of Milledgeville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Bradford, the late Robert L. Waddell and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter B. Peeler Sr. She is a graduate of John Milledge Academy, the University of Georgia where she earned a bachelor of science in education degree, and Auburn University where she received her master’s in communication disorders. Amanda is currently employed as a speech language pathologist.
The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Elsie Clark and the late Donald M. Clark. He is a graduate of Baldwin High School, and after graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He has served for eight years, and is currently a Sergeant with the 421st Quadrant Master Company out of Fort Valley. His most recent achievement was becoming a Jump Master. Clark is currently employed by the City of Milledgeville as a apparatus engineer with the Milledgeville Fire Department. He will return to college in the winter to complete his degree.
The wedding is planned for October 17, 2009. After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Milledgeville.
