MILLEDGEVILLE — Mr. and Mrs. Mark Salter of Eatonton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Renee Bevins of Milledgeville, to Derek Anthony Williams of Milledgeville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Williams of Milledgeville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey “Bud” Criswell of Toomsboro, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bevins and the late Mrs. Kay Bevins of Gordon, and Mrs. Janice Salter and the late Mr. Max Salter of Eatonton.  Holly is a 2002 honor graduate of Georgia Military College High School and a 2007 graduate of Georgia College & State University, where she received a bachelor’s of business administration with a major in accounting.  She was an active member of Beta Alpha Psi national honors business organization for accounting, finance and information systems.  Holly is a 2011 graduate of Georgia College & State University, where she received a bachelor’s of science with a major in nursing.  The bride-elect is currently employed as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brown of Milledgeville, Mrs. Dell Smith and the late Rev. Norman Williams of Milledgeville.  Derek is a 1996 graduate of Baldwin High School and a 2003 graduate of Georgia College & State University, where he received a bachelor’s of science degree with a Major in criminal justice.  He is a 2011 graduate of Central Georgia Technical College, where he earned a practical nursing diploma.  The groom-elect is currently employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Intermediate Care Unit at Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 19, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Milledgeville.   After a honeymoon in the Bahamas, the couple will make their home in Milledgeville.
