MILLEDGEVILLE — Mr. and Mrs. Joe (Lucy) Collins of Camak are proud to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Lukectria Valanji Collins to the Rev. Corey Rondriguez Smith of Sparta, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen (Agnes) Griffith of Sparta.

The bride to be is a 1997 graduate of Warren County High School. She holds a bachelor of science degree in Allied Health Science/Health Care Administration from Albany State University and a master's degree in Counseling & Psychology from Troy University. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

She is employed with Metro Atlanta Counseling and A Positive Intervention Inc. as a Counselor and Assessor.

The future groom is a 1996 graduate of Georgia Military College High School. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in communications from the University of Georgia. He is the senior pastor of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church in Milledgeville, and he is also employed with GEICO Insurance Company as a liability adjuster.

Lukectria Collins and Rev. Corey Smith will marry Sept. 24, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Trinity CME Church 2930 Glenn Hills Dr., Augusta, Ga. 30906.
