MILLEDGEVILLE — Rodney and Nita Reagin of Sparta are happy to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessi Kaitlyn, to Jacob Thompson, the son of Amy and Ray Mimes of Milledgeville and Mark Thompson of Toomsboro.   

Kaitlyn is the granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Watson and the late Mr. Tom O. Watson of Grayson, and Mrs. Inez Reagin and the late Mr. Kelley Reagin of Lithonia. She is a 2007 graduate of John Hancock Academy and a 2010 graduate of Georgia Military College where she earned an associate in science degree.   

Jacob is the grandson of Mrs. Bettie Miller and the late Mr. Charles E. Miller Jr. of Milledgeville, and Mr. H. E. (Buddy) Thompson and the late Mrs. Virginia Thompson of Haddock.  He is also a 2007 graduate of John Hancock Academy, and is currently employed with Premier Elevator.

The couple will wed on Saturday, the first of October at 6 o’clock at Shoulderbone Plantation in White Plains.
