MILLEDGEVILLE — Mr. Roger Allen Butch and Ms. Amy Copeland of Milledgeville are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Georgette Butch, of Milledgeville, to Mr. Eric Matthew Barden of Napoleon, Mich., son of Cynthia Atwood and Mark Barden of Jackson, Mich.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. Roger Allen Butch and Ms. Amy McAlpine Copeland, both of Milledgeville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Duke and Karen Georgette Temple, both of Milledgeville. She is currently employed at the Macon Medical Center.

The groom-elect is the son of Cynthia Atwood and Mark Barden Sr. He is the grandson of Mr. Russ and Jean Barden of Michigan Center, Michigan and Mrs. Alice Atwood of Eaton Rapids, Mich.

The wedding is planned for September, 24, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Sinclair Baptist Church in Milledgeville. The bride will be given in marriage by her father, Roger Allen Butch. The Matron of Honor is Jennifer's best friend, Ms. Nora Tanner of Milledgeville, and best friend, Ms. Cassie Brooks of Milledgeville, is the Maid of Honor. The best man is the son of Eric and Jennifer, Mr. Stephen Michael Butch, of Milledgeville.
