MILLEDGEVILLE — Charles and Karen Butler of Dublin, Georgia are pleased to announce that their daughter, Kyle Lauren Butler of Dublin, will marry Joshua Lamar Brookins of Milledgeville, son of Ken and Jenny Brookins.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Butler of Dublin and Mrs. Clara Smerly and the late Mr. Earl Simerly of Hampton, Tennessee. Kyle is a 2007 graduate of Dublin High School, and a 2011 graduate of Middle Georgia College with a degree in Criminal Justice.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Billy Brookins, Mr. and Mrs. Terry, and Eubanks of Milledgeville, and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Sheppard of Sandersville, Georgia. Josh is a 2010 graduate of Baldwin County High School and is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice at Georgia Military College.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Springdale Baptist Church in Dublin, Georgia.
