The Georgia Military College Prep softball C-team solidified its position in postseason play with a split with Morgan County.
The Lady Bulldogs lost the first game of the set by the score of 8-7 but bounced back in the nightcap for a 7-6 win.
Alyssa Amerson was credited with the loss in the first game and the win in the second.
In the first game, Amerson went 2-for-4 and Lauren Pearson went 2-for-3. In the second game, Amerson went 2-for-4 again and Brianna Columbus went 3-for-4.
The Lady Bulldogs hit the road Friday for their region tournament in Morgan County.
