The Georgia Military College Prep football C-team is off to a quick start. The Bulldogs improved their record to 2-0 with a 14-6 win over Glascock.
The Bulldogs drove the length of the field on their opening possession, with Dustin DeLoach scoring the first touchdown of the game on a 5-yard rush. The PAT was no good.
The ensuing kickoff was returned to the 45-yard line by the Panthers, but the GMC Prep defense stopped them there for a turnover on downs.
At the half, GMC Prep led 6-0.
The Bulldogs took over on offense to start the second half, and the GMC Prep team picked up where the left off. DeLoach powered into the endzone for his second score of the game, and the Bulldogs picked up the 2-point conversion for a 14-0 lead.
The Panthers made a late-game comeback, driving inside the Bulldog 30-yard line with only seconds left in the fourth quarter. A hail mary pass bounced around in the end zone before a Panther hauled it in for the score, but the points were too little, too late.
