MILLEDGEVILLE — Helen O’Kelley Dalton, 86, of Eatonton died January 26, 2103.

She is survived by daughter, DiAnne Dalton Wallace of Eatonton; sons, Jimmy and Cheryl Dalton of Riverdale, Ga.; Robert & Nancy Dalton of Hilton Head, S.C.; Kenney and Marilyn Dalton of Eatonton; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; brothers, Alfred and Eudora O’Kelley,  J.W. O’Kelley and Benjamin O’Kelley and sister-in-law, Grace O’Kelley, all of Moultrie, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, James N. Dalton; her parents, Hubert and Ollie O’Kelley; son-in-law, Henry (Sonny) Wallace; brother, Wilburn E. O’Kelley, and sister-in-laws, Evelyn and Sally Mae O’Kelley.

Born May 19, 1926, in Moultrie, Ga., she attended Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, Massey Business College of Atlanta and Atlanta Technical School.

In 1988 she retired as a supervisor for The State of Georgia Revenue Income Tax Division after 27 years of service.

She and her husband, James, retired to Eatonton in 1994. She was a Founding Member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Eatonton.

Visitation was from 4 o 8 p.m. Sunday, January 27 at Williams Funeral Home of Eatonton. Services were held at 1 p.m. January 28 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Eatonton. Burial followed at the family plot at the Fairview Cemetery in Stockbridge, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crossroads Baptist Church, Building Fund, Eatonton, Ga.
