Funeral services for Ms. Betty J. Liggins will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, from Friendship Baptist Church with viewing from 1until the 2 p.m. funeral hour. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms . Betty J. Liggins of 162 Old Colony Farm Road entered rest on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at her residence.
Survivors include: mother, Mrs. Lillian Lucille Buck Wagner of Milledgeville; eight brothers: Mr. Willie Liggins , Elder Eddie Liggins, Mr. Norris Liggins, Mr. Jackie Barnes, all of Milledgeville; Mr. Harvey Buck of Boston, Mass.; and Mr. Kelvin Barnes of Grayson, Ga.; eight sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Downing, Mrs. Eleanor Boyer, Mrs. Beulah Fleming, Ms. Carol Martin-Buck, all of Milledgeville; Mrs. Irona Spikes of Gray, Ga.; Mrs. Gladys Garner of Augusta, Ga.; Mrs. Janie Salley of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Evangelist Willie Bell Martin of Sandersville; nephews and nieces; cousins and other relatives; and many friends.
Friends may visit the family at the residence.
