Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Mae Tyus of Sparta were held at 2 p.m. Sunday Oct. 7, 2012, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Sparta with the Rev. M. Curry, pastor and eulogist.
Eva M. Tyus leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Mr. Ned R. Tyus Jr. of Sparta; sister, Sarah Brooks of Stone Mountain; children; Larry Carter of Decatur, Sandra Culver and Tereon Tyus of Sparta and Denise Milner of Milledgeville; stepchildren, James Tyus of Tampa, Fla., Rosa Robinson, Geraldine Boone, Betty Brooks and Vandra Webster, all of Sparta; 27 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
