MILLEDGEVILLE — Celebration of life services for Mr. David Latimore Sr. of 1850 Tanglewood Road, Milledgeville, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at Warren Chapel A.M.E. Church, Devereaux. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. On Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, David transitioned to his heavenly home. He was a native of Devereaux and had lived in New York for 41 years. He and his family returned to Georgia in 2002. David was a faithful and devoted member of Warren Chapel. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving, beautiful and devoted wife, Mrs. Emma Walker Latimore of Milledgeville; one son, David Latimore Jr. of Charleston, S.C.; daughters, Debora (Louis) Powell and Cheryl Latimore of Milledgeville; two special granddaughters, Debora Latimore and Gianna Dozier; six sisters; one brother; devoted aunt, Maude Ingram; devoted uncle, Tyree Walls; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
