MILLEDGEVILLE — A celebration of the life of Vincent Evans Gladin, 41 of Athens, will be held Saturday March 9, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Moores Funeral Home in Milledgeville.

Vince was a native of Milledgeville, the son of Sue Carter Gladin and the late Preston Bradley Gladin Jr.

He graduated from PAYH High School in Vidalia, Ga. He was a skilled welder and worked in power plants in several states. He was an avid music fan and his hobbies included photography.

His survivors include his mother, Sue Carter Gladin and his sister, Ellen Gladin both of Athens; children, Cory Gladin and Bridgette Gladin of Macon; granddaughter, Trinity Gladin of Macon; his grandmother, Polly Gladin of Tennille, Ga.; his special friend, Carrie Hayes of Athens; and his faithful dog, Jimmy.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to donor’s favorite charity.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday immediately following the celebration.
