Funeral services for Mr. Samuel Sidney Lanier Morgan will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013, from Vaughn Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Morgan of Atlanta, formerly of Milledgeville, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013, in a local hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alice Morgan; two daughters, Mrs. Brenda L. Derricott and Mrs. Hazel Morgan Slaton; three granddaughters; one grandson; brother, Mr. James Morgan Sr.; and a host of other relatives.
The family will convene at 10 a.m. Saturday at Slater’s Funeral Home for procession to church.
