SPARTA — Mrs. Irene Walker, 64, of 76 T. Tucker Drive, Sparta, died at an Athens health care facility Nov. 16, 2009.
She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Trence Walker and Robert Walker, both of Sparta; mother, Ollie Mae Walker of Stone Mountain; one sister, Magnolia Walker of Stone Mountain; four brothers, Willie C. (Ollie) Walker of Miami, Fla., Earnest T. (Gladys) Walker and Wilson Walker, both of Sparta, and Eddie (Mary) Walker of Sandersville.
Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at noon at St. Mark AME Church in Sparta with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Robert Knight will officiate.
Ingram Brothers Funeral Home Inc., 249 Spring St., Sparta, has charge of arrangements.
