Agnes Benford

Agnes Baggett Benford, 94, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2009. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at West View Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Bradley officiating.

Mrs. Benford was retired co-owner of Benford’s Fine Foods and manager of Family Dollar. She was the widow of Lamar Sims Benford and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Sara Ann Birdsong (Claudus) of Appling, Verna Miller of Macon, Marion Baggett (Sandy), of Alpharetta, Loran Hardie of Gordon and Denton Hardie (Susan) of Leesburg; and seven great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moores Funeral Home.
